This design challenge focuses on stealing footage and then putting pieces of our own footage in the video to add new context to the footage.
I've always joked about how I could write a paper on Twilight, so I guess in a weird way I kind of got my wish and got to focus a school project on arguably one of the best cringey bad films. My take on the video was to add the perspectives of the other students. You can't help but wonder what other people see and how they are reacting because the acting is just so dramatic. I feel like if I were to see something like that go down I would probably talk about it because everyone in Twilight acts very strangely. My video is very much Mean Girls and vine ("oh my god they were roommates") inspired which was a lot of fun to do. For Bella, I wanted it to be a more realistic reaction to how one would probably react. There is a scene in the actual movie where he says "I've killed people before" and she straight up replies that she doesn't care. Normal people wouldn't say that ("I hope"). I don't have any prior experience with premiere cut pro so this was all new to me, but because of the bluish tones and music I was able to get some practice with some of the tools.

For the group, we got together and each person directed the others to fit what they had in mind for their videos. Filming together made it easier to see what each person was doing so we had an idea of how our group video would look. We then used our footage and clips to put together the final group video.
